Present Ian Spensley, Cliff Featherstone, Steve Walton, Liz Walton. Meeting started at 7.30pm. The meeting had been informed that there was likely to be a low attendance as most comittee members had just returned from the Hetton Hawks weekend at Patley Bridge. It was felt though that the meeting should still take place in order to get sertain items in motion as soon as possible.
Andy Cosgrove has announced that he is stepping down as chairman of the NECCA with immediate affect, we will still see Andy competing and organising the Teesdale CRT events. Andy has recently been voted onto the RTTC national committee and must devote more time to this endeavor.
The number of events that Andy has helped organise in recent seasons is quite considerable and his presence on the committee will be a greatly missed. He does however leaves the NECCA in a much stronger position and the NECCA would like to thank him for his considerable efforts in recent years.
Due to the amalgamation with Hetton Hawks, it was decided that the Old Mill was proving a little too popular and a new venue must be sourced for next seasons Presentation Evening.
The 2007/08 Presentation just passed saw £689 paid out in prizes and, as has been traditional, everyone who finished the required number of counting events, in this case 4 was awarded a prize. Unfortunately two presentations in one evening saw no time for the raffle!
